Investigating economic aspects of pollutant emissions and their consequences, especially due to its increasing trend, is among important issues and accordingly in recent years much attention has been paid to its destructive impacts. In the present study, the impact of economic growth and urbanization on carbon dioxide emissions and existence of Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) is investigated. STRIPAT model framework was formed for the test and fixed impact parametric and semi-parametric panel data models were estimated for Asian countries from 2000 through 2014. Despite the fact that parametric panel data method didn't confirmed existence of inverted-U relationship for both models, but semi-parametric panel data confirmed EKC hypothesis just for economic growth and CO2 emissions variables.

Due to limitation of energy resources and its importance in the supply chain as the final products for consumers and inputs for manufacturers on the one hand, and On the other hand, due to the large fluctuations in prices and increased greenhouse gas emissions conservation policies and factors affecting supply and demand in recent decades have been considered by the scientific and policy communities. In this study, the relationship between energy consumption, export and economic growth in the industrial sector of the Iranian economy has been tested. For this purpose, the panel data of energy consumption, export and value added of the industrial sector in the ISIC 2-digit level detail over the years 2002 to 2012 were used. To study causality and dynamics between variables in the industrial sector the Toda-Yamamoto causality and vector error correction model were used. The results show bidirectional short-run, long-run and strong causality between variables, Except for one case that from exports to energy consumption and economic growth in the short run, there is no causality.

Undesirable environmental changes such as global warming and greenhouse gases emissions rising have created much concerns worldwide during recent decades. Environmental problems emerged from economic activities have become a controversial problem due to achieve higher economic growth rate. The aim of this research is to investigate the effects of economic growth, trade and financial development on environmental quality in Iran. To this end, the statistical data during the period of 1970-2011 has been used. Also by using the Auto Regression Model Distributed Lag (ARDL) short-term and long-term relationships between the variables of model were estimated and analyzed. The results show that financial development and economic growth increase the degradation of the environment. In addition, the rise in trade openness reduces the degradation of the environment. Error correction coefficient (ECM) shows that in each period 51 percent of imbalance will be compensated and it closes to its long run process. CUSUM and CUSUMSQ tests show that the estimated coefficients are stable over the period.

Globalization is a dynamic movement that is taken all aspects of the economy, or affecting them. It implies a process which, during that, gradually borders disappears, and synchronously international transactions increase. For developing countries who, are not able to enter into globalization process, in short term, economic integration and the formation of regional trade blocks, is the most effective way to open economy and integrate into global economy. This paper deals with the economic integration among Iran and Latin American countries in the shape of trade block formation. In fact, the main purpose of this paper is to investigate the success or failure of the trade block and its effects on bilateral trade between Iran and these countries. To this need, the Generalized Gravity Model is used, also Panel Data Method is used to estimate the model. The results express that economic cooperation between Iran and Latin America, remarkably increases bilateral trade between the two sides. In other words, trade block leads a 89 percent increase in trade among member countries.
